Aulanko golf comprises two courses and is located at Hämeenlinna which is in the south of Finland. Hämeenlinna is approximately 100 Km north-west of Helsinki. There are excellent motorway and railway connections between Helsinki and Tampere.The Hugo course dating from 1940 which is attached to the Aulanko Hotel, is a well established mature 9 hole course, which includes a driving range and club house.
The main course named, Eversti is a 18 hole course recently opened in 2006. The club house is located approximately 2 Km from the Aulanko Hotel.
The club house is where the administration and caddy masters office are located together with a lobby, pro-shop, fully licensed restaurant, covered terrace, locker rooms, saunas and showers for male and female players.
A practice putting green is located directly in front of the club house and close by is a driving range and practice areas for chipping, pitching and bunkers.
Handicap requirements
· Maximum handicap for both male and female players is 36
· For a group of 4 players the maximum combined handicap has to be 100
· For a group of 3 players the maximum combined handicap has to be 108
Green Fees
· Eversti 18 holes green fee 48 € ( 24 € juniors)
· Hugo 18 holes green fee 36 € ( 18 € juniors)
· Hugo 9 holes green fee 24 € ( 12 € juniors)
Tee times
· Tee times must be booked by visitors with the caddy master
Playing times for 9 holes is maximum 2hr 15 minutes
Playing times for 18 holes is maximum 4hr 30 minutes
Golf shoes with spikes are not allowed.
Members and visitors are required to wear suitable golfing clothing at all times.
Lockers which take a 50 c coins are available to all players.
Trolleys which are locate in the main car park can be used by inserting a 50c or 1€ refundable coin.
Baskets of balls used on the driving range are obtained by purchasing a token from the caddy masters office.
