Joko on joku päässyt kokeilemaan Mizunon uutta driveria/väyläpuuta? Kommentteja?
Ei omia kokemuksia vielä. Tässä muiden:
I played with our mizuno rep about a week ago and had the opportunity to hit the new mizuno driver…
It’s the best driver they have put out IMO. The head sits very square and has a great feel off of the forged face..It promoted a lower trajectory for me, I hit a 9.5 983K and hit the 10* mizuno with the stock stiff shaft. The distance was comparable to my K, I did find it to be more forgiving. According to the rep the face was constructed so that it’s .83 everywhere, how they do that I don’t know but they did..misses seemed to go pretty well. The price point on this club is supposed to be at 399.00 too, 100 less than the callaway. They really cool thing he showed me was the fairway woods. They used the same technology in it and have really produced a winner IMO. It had a great trajectory and was very boring with the S-300 shaft it had in it..They should all be availible this month some time..hope this helps.
my stats: Driver SS @112 with smooth transition
5 iron SS @ 86 with 189 carry on avg..

The mizuno driver comes in 400cc and 370cc. I hit the 400cc today and it feels solid and goes pretty far. Its not quite as loud as the cobra drivers, but louder than a Titleist or Taylor. As for shafts, they should have them listed on the website and custom shafts are the same price as stock shafts now. It seems like many companies are starting to do this which is a big plus.

Early reports I heard on the MP001 were that it is suppose to be the lowest spinning driver in the market making it potentially one of the longest hitting out there. I will be interested to see if it catches on Tour.

that will be true because the driver also has the lowest center of gavity available
remember the ball spins towards mass

If it is a week away from coming to the retail stores, it isn’t going to catch on with the tour. If it was that much of an improvement they would have been playing it long ago. Think of the anticipation for the 510 DF that was on tour a full year before hitting production. The only Mizuno MP-001 wood I can find in play is a fairway wood in Tway’s bag and he is a Mizuno player. None in non Mizuno players bags (unlike the irons that many play without pay). I’m sure Cobra, Cleveland, Nicklaus aren’t worried about any business leaving them and going to Mizuno—particularly not at $399.
Remeber the only player of any note to play a Mizuno driver was VJ as the 300S was a passing fancy with him.
I don’t recall anyone posting saying look a MP-001 is for sale on e-Bay either.
