Pelaaja lyö pallonsa viheriölle, merkkaa sen ja laittaa taskuunsa. Kun tulee hänen vuoronsa putata niin hän huomaa, että taskussa onkin kaksi samanlaista palloa, eikä hän osaa sanoa, kummalla on tähän asti pelannut.Miten jatketaan?
12-2 Pallon tunnistaminen
Pelaaja vastaa siitä, että hän pelaa oikeata palloa.
Dec 12-2/1 kertoo:
Q. In the area in which his ball presumably came to rest, a player finds a
ball of the same brand, model and identification number as the ball he is
playing. The player assumes it is his ball, even though it does not carry an
identification mark as suggested in Rule 12-2, and plays it. Should the player
be considered to have played a wrong ball?
A. No, unless (1) there is clear evidence that, because of the ball’s condition,
it is not the player’s ball or (2) subsequently it is established that another ball
of the same brand, model and identification number was lying in the area at
the time the player played and either ball, from a condition standpoint, could
be the player’s ball.
Kyllä mä tulkitsisin että toi Dec 12-2/1 unless (2) pätee. Jos on todistettavasti mahdollista, että pelas väärää palloa , niin tuomitaan väärän pallon pelaamisesta.
Reikäpelissä reiän menetys, se on helppoa.
Lyöntipelissä onkin vaikeampaa. Sääntö 15-3 b sanoo, että +2, väärällä pallolla tehtyjä lyöntejä ei lasketa ja pelattava oikealla loppuun. Mutta kun ei tiedetä kumpi on se oikea?
Mä tuomitsisin että pelaa millä haluat reikä loppuun, pane kaks plussaa ja merkkaa pallo ennen seuraavaa boksia.
