The Finnish Golf Tour (FGT) is organised by the PGA of Finland and the Finnish Golf Union. It is for both professional and amateur players depending on the player's category.
Foreign players can come and qualify for the FGT in order to get a category. Professional players must be PGA members and amateurs recognized by their National Golf Federation in order to collect NL points.
However, 30% of the field in non-Challenge Tour events is reserved for Nordic League players and entry is according to the Nordic League regulations (ranking position). For Finnish tournaments, a player must have a position on the Nordic League Ranking (in the top 150) in order to enter an event. All players who make the cut receive Nordic League ranking points. In a Nordic League major tournament 2/3 of field is reserved for the NL players from the NL ranking.
The entry fee is 100 euros for players with a Finnish Golf Tour category and double for others. Qualifying school is 150€.
